Attention

If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.

You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

Photo Cart was retired in 2015. Check out Sytist.

Tim or Dave,

I came across a message in the old help section of photocart. Dave answered the question with a link from a past FAQ and the link no longer functions. Can you explain again the answer to the question below? It's sound intriguing.

Thanks.

"Hey Guys,

is it possible to grab some code to embed the "gallery access code" box on our website (not a pictures pro one) so clients get access directly from our main site by simply putting in the access code?

fingers crossed for a yes! [with explanation of course]

View the source of that page to get the code and also make note of the notes in it.

When I click on this link, I get a "Password" to enter. None of mine appear to work. Can you clarify?

When you view that page, you need to view the source to see the code you need to use. Firefox & Chrome right click -> View Page source ... IE right click -> view source.

Sorry for the continued questions. When looking at this source, it appears to be related to Sytist...is this the correct link for those that have PhotoCart?

Found some issues with this code. For the Access Gallery Form, the < tr > needs to be after the form method. Also its important that the action has the index.php at the end (http://www.mywebsite.com/photocart/index.php) Below is what I had to change to get it to work on my site anyway, taking the code off the link on this forum wouldn't work.

ACCESS GALLERY FORM
<table align=center cellpadding=4 cellspacing=0 border=0 width=100%><form method="post" name="galaccess" action="http://www.mywebsite.com/photocart/index.php"><tr><td>
Access Code: <input type="text" name="access_code" size="12" class=textfield><input type="hidden" name="do" value="photocart"><input type="hidden" name="action" value="accessGallery"></td></tr>
<tr><td align=center><input type="hidden" name="submitit" value="yes"><input type="submit" name="submit" value=" Submit" class=submit></td></form></tr></table>
