Attention
If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.
You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

I am unable to get the "Backup Database" feature to actually backup my database.
I click the Backup button, Photo Cart says it has backed up the database, but never lists that backup or any.
Few questions:
Is there a setting somewhere I`m missing.
What am I doing wrong
Where is this backup stored?

If the backup file is not listed , the file size is empty or 10kb or smaller, then the backup function did not work. This is probably due to server restrictions. If that is the case, you will need to create a backup from your hosting control panel using a tool such as phpmyadmin.
Most likely the host has the system function disabled which causes the backups to fail. You should check and see if your host is making regular backups.
