Attention
If your Photo Cart is suddenly getting a 500 error or only displaying a blank page then you or your hosting company has updated the PHP (programming language) to PHP 7 which Photo Cart is not compatible with (and will not be compatible with) mainly because of the removal of the my_sql functions which are replaced with my_sqli functions.
You would need to have the PHP version downgraded to 5.6 in order for Photo Cart to work. If downgrading the PHP doesn't work then you may have to update Photo Cart to the last version of 7. Download Photo Cart 7 upgrade files. Upgrade instructions.

My Public Galleries Still Request Access Code

My home page is set to bring up recent galleries, which is fine. All twelve galleries are Public. The nav link on this page nav bar says Access Gallery but I am still getting a window requesting an access code.
Can someone tell me where the setting is to disable this window for public galleries? I checked all twelve and they are all set to Public

The Access Gallery menu link is specifically for entering an Access Code and then being taken to the appropriate Gallery. If you do not intend to use Access Codes and want that link gone, remove it from the menu using Customize > Menu Links. Public Galleries are accessed by simply clicking the Gallery name.

Thank you. I have deactivated and it works great. also added header and footer html to photocart. I am new to photocart and just haven't had the time yet to use all the customize features

When I am logged in it is asking me for access codes, I removed it from the menu using Customise>Menu links but then there is no way to navigate to the galleries, where am I going very wrong please?
