A registry system where customers can create a registry and have other basically put money into their account. The registry purchases are put into the credit system.

 

Please note that “Print Packages” are now called "Traditional" and “Digital packages” are now called "Custom Packages".

 

Add options for Custom Packages for things just as collages, posters, books, etc… These options are displayed to a customer for the whole custom package. You can ask “what size”, “what color”, “what style”, “what name”, or whatever you want.

 

One click “Add to package” for custom packages right from the view image page. No more back and forth.

Packages now have a cleaner interface on the customer side which should make it easier to display the packages and any options.

 

The option to apply a discount to standard prints with purchase of package. In the package you can enter in an a la cart discount if the package is purchased.

There is a new Quick Account feature where a customer can create an account with just a name, email address and password.

Photo Cart will now force completion of account information at checkout if it is not complete.

You can add additional shipping charges per item (sizes, packages, gallery items, accessory store) that is added to the total shipping charge.

Select to tax or not tax sizes & prices, packages, etc...

 

You can create an independent option during the checkout process asking the customer how they plan to pay.

 

Now Photo Cart has an admin calendar system where you can add dates for yourself and also relevant dates for your customers.

 

You can close the store if you need to make major changes or for whatever reason and display a custom closed message.

New way to edit, change, disable and add menu links to the Photo Cart main menu.

Now you can edit the majority of the text in Photo Cart right from the customer side.

You can set a minimum order amount for your Photo Cart that the customer must order to process to checkout.

Photo Cart will tell you when a customer was last active on the website and you can sort customers in the admin by last active date.

Need more than open and closed for orders? Now you can create your own custom order statuses to place your orders in.

You can select to either tax on the customers ship to address or customer’s address on the account.

If you don’t want any shipping options on a certain gallery and you select that option and the customer will only have the pick up option. Also, you can mark certain items if they are purchased, then it will disable shipping options.

Now you can create a line item invoice in the admin and email it to the customer. Might be used for sitting fees, custom work, deposits, etc…

I have developed a new way that images are displayed and watermarked.

The images will now be watermarked using a transparent png file on the fly. You can create your own png watermark files and upload them from the admin. This gives you a lot more control on the watermarking.

 

You can also add your logo or additional watermarking to the image. With both, you can select the location of where they appear.

There is also a way to watermark thumbnails also using the same method as above but using it’s own watermarking file.

 

Also thumbnails use a new encrypting method to where the file name is not in the source code.

Now zoom images are displayed on the page instead of a new window. Also you can allow or not allow customers to select next and previous while viewing the zoom image.

Now coloring options are part of the price group. You can select which coloring options to offer with a price group and even create your own (blue tint, green tine, etc)

 

When the customer selects that color option, the image will automatically see a preview of it. Also, the selected is what is added to the cart. So if they are viewing a sepia tone, then sepia tone option is added to cart.

Instead of the “crop previews”, now when someone selected an 8X10 (and you have the cropping option turned on for that 8x10) the image will automatically crop to an 8X10. Also if they select a black & white in 8X10, then they will see a 8X10 crop in black & white.

 

This only automatically works with the drop down menu add to cart form. In the “list” add to cart form there are preview crop options under each size.

There are 2 types of add to cart forms. 1) Drop down menu where the sizes are listed in a drop down menu and 2) The list form where it lists out each size with a quantity box next to each one.

 

Now you can select which add to cart form based on price group.

 

You can disable the notes section under the add to cart form.

You can optionally upload thumbnail images for categories.

Now you are able to create categories for your customer and sort and export customer by these categories.

Assign a Price group to a customer ... overrides gallery price group.

Now view what’s in your customers cart from the admin.

You can turn off the print sizes dimensions that shows when offering downloadable files on the view image page.

 

Downloadable images purchases are now subject to tax in the size / price setting.

Now when a customer views images from their favorites, navigation is for favorites instead of the gallery the favorites are in … meaning when they click next, it’s the next favorite.

You can change the date & time format displayed and also adjust any time difference between your current time and server time.

Orders will show you how many images and how many prints are on the order. Also images on orders now show total path of gallery.

 

Order work list that just lists out the images and sizes with no thumbnails to either print and work from your check checkboxes as you go. Also you can export text file of the images (this should work with breeze browsers but I don’t have it so haven’t tested it)

 

Now when you create subgalleries, you can select a different price group if needed. Also you can create unlimited subgalleries in subgalleries.

There is now an option to create a splash page for galleries. The splash page is a page before the customer sees the thumbnails. You can either use the Photo Cart slideshow or use your own HTML or both.

 

If you use the Photo Cart slideshow, you can select which images to display and after the last image the image (and music if music is used) will fade out and direct to the gallery.

There is not a limit on the home page for galleries any more. It uses a paging system where they can click next, previous, etc…

Categories count now counts all galleries in sub categories as well
