Watermarking
Admin: Settings > Watermarking
When an image is displayed to the browser Photo Cart will watermark it first.
The watermarking is done by taking a transparent png file and laying it on top
of the image basically.
By default Photo Cart comes with a watermarking file [click here for the default file], but you can create your own and upload to the system. You can either create
a large watermarking file that lays over the entire image (like the default one)
or create a small one and select where to place it. You can select bottom right,
bottom, bottom left, center, top left, top, or top right.
You can use a photo edit program to create your png files like photo shop. You
will need to be sure you have your transparencies set in your png file. You can
use the default one as a reference.
There is also an option to add a logo to the images. This is done like watermarking
using a png file.
You can play with it by uploading watermark files in the admin then view images
as a customer. Below is a sample of a watermarked file with a logo.
