Price Groups
Photo Cart allows you to create unlimited Price Groups. A price group is a set
of products and when creating galleries, you select which price group to use.
This allows you to have a price group for weddings, a different one for seniors,
and so on.
Labels (New for version 5.0: )
Labels are used to group together different sets of products within a Price Group.
An example would be a label for “Standard Prints” with a group of products. A
label for “Canvas Prints” with a group of products.
When using labels, the customer will see these and be able to click on them to
view the prodcuts.
You can create as many labels as you like. To add a new label, view a Price Group
and click Create new label in the Price Group actions section.
Image options
These options are one off options you can offer for your Standard Products. For
example, blemish removal, $5. If this was selected when someone added an image
to their cart, it would be charged once, no matter how many prints they select
for that image. Image options are not offered on download products.
Color options
This section allows you to offer B&W, Sepia tone, etc to the images, When
B&W is selected for example, the image will automatically convert to B&W.
You can also offer the color option to package, however, they are not automatically
converted.
Manage Packages
This is where you add packages you have created to the price group. Your packages
are separate from your standard products, so from the manage packages, you select
from your available packages as to which to offer with a particular price group.
Package Groups
Package groups work just like labels in the standard products. This allows you
to group together your packages as they are offered to your customers.
You may want to have a grouping for collections, another for collages, posters,
calendars, etc.
After you have created package groups, you can select where to put the packages
when adding to the group.
