Customers
The customers section of Photo Cart keeps track of your customers, their orders,
favorites, etc. From the customers section you can view:
Orders for the customer
Images in their favorites
Credit amount
Registry
Shopping cart total
Category
Custom price group.
Customer Categories
Customers > Categories
The customer categories allow you to create categories for you to put your customers
in. You create your own categories and add your customers there.
From the categories you can sort your customers by the categories and also export
their information based on category.
Customer Custom Pricing
The custom pricing feature lets you assign a price group you have created to
the customer. When doing so, no matter what gallery the customer orders from they
will order at the pricing for their custom category.
Customer Credits
Customers > View Customer > Credit
The credit section lets you put a money credit on their account. When they checkout,
the credit will come off the order just like a payment, not like a discount. When
they are logged in, they will see a message with their total account credit.
If a customer’s credit is more than the order total, they will have credit remaining.
Also, credits are also totaled in the reports as payments.
Generating Customer Invoice
From viewing a customer in the admin, you can create them a line item invoice
and send it to them via email. This may be useful to bill for a sitting fee, deposit,
etc.
Create a customer
If you ever have the need to create an account for a customer, you can do so
in the admin, Customers > Add new customer. You can also email their login information
from the customer information screen.
