Black & White / Coloring Options
Admin: Settings > B&W and Color Options
Note you have to add the color options to your price group for them to be available.
View price group in the Products & Price section and click on the manage color
options link.
The color option settings allows you to offer black & white, sepia tone and
other types of previews and options. To get these color options to work you must
add them to your price groups. View the price group in the admin and you will
see the section to manage color options.
When these color options are offered, there will be a drop down menu on the add
to cart form. When someone selects an option, the image will automatically change
to that selection (meaning when they select a black & white, the image will
automatically change to black & white). Also, if selected the option for black
& white will be added to the cart.
The black & white option is pretty standard, converts the image to black
& white. The sepia tone and others first converts the image to black &
white then takes a solid color image the same size and lays it over the converted
image.
In the color option settings, you are able to tweak the amount of Red, Green,
and Blur (RGB) of the image that gets laid over the black & white image. You
can also adjust the opacity of the original black & white image.
You can play around with these by making changes then view the images on the
customer side of the Photo Cart.
You can also charge an extra fee for black & white and the coloring options.
If you do the fee will only be added once per image. So if the customer selects
sepia tone and you charge $2.00 to convert it, then no matter how many of that
same image they order there will be just one $2.00 charge.
