If so what software are you using to manage your images and data?

100+ views and no replys is a bit disappointing.
I'm actually looking at this issue at the moment myself.

Hey -
Photolynx will definately provide you with everything you need... ID cards at the school or after, image management, package entering, green screen capable.. you can also do all of your services including Admin CDs, skyward Cds, Yearbook CDs, school office services... everything..
The bad news.. its pretty pricey at around 2500-4000 a year per license per computer... you have to renew that license yearly. You'll pay more if you need to produce a large number of cds for your schools.
Another option - www.drumsusers.com Pretty much the same type of software developed by school photographers. You'll be able to purchase the software though and won' t need a yearly license. It runs about 4500 for the non-printing version if you send out to a lab. Or 8500 for printing version if you send to your own printer or in house minilab.
It really depends on how many shots you do a year if its worth the cost. On the flip side our pro lab offers free software that handles all of the image management and package entry. You can then export it into a third party ID software. We mostly use Asure ID but have used others.
I hope that helped - and if you have any other questions let me know...
